About Wee Watch Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo

Marcia’s home daycare organizations combined—Wee Watch Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo—are one of the largest Wee Watch franchises. They serve over 2,000 children and parents in the Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo regions of Ontario. The organization, led by a team of 10, employs over 100 home daycare providers who have successfully logged over 500,000 records through Attendify.

What was the process like before Attendify?
We’ve used Attendify for so long that it’s almost impossible to remember what it was like before. Initially, we were early users of Attendify, and since then, it has grown in features and functionality. Now, it can process payroll and do our subsidy billing. Being early users has allowed us to enjoy the benefits of newer features built around existing ones.

What problems or challenges did you face with your old system, and how did those issues impact your day-to-day work?
Everyone in the industry was using the old systems like pen, paper and excel but we quickly left that system because of the complexity. Attendify has made the difference.

How was your experience with the setup and onboarding process, and were there any parts that turned out to be easier than expected?
It was as easy as ABC. Really nothing more to add.

Which features of Attendify do you use most often—such as billing or attendance, and how have they helped you or your staff save time and stay organized?
We consistently rely on Attendify for payroll and parent billing. We no longer need to transfer this information to an Excel sheet because we can run a report and get the information directly.

What do you love most about the platform?
As a busy mom and business operator, time is something that I don't have extra of. Attendify has saved me hours in administrative tasks! Having those who work with us be able to submit their hours through this program has allowed me to assure clients that the records we have are accurate and reliable. It is easy to use, regardless of your experience with technology.
